With an investment of over $250,000, Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams built and established a working model for all other on-site corporate daycare facilities in this country (and is the first one of its kind in the home furnishings industry!).
Lulu's Child Enrichment Center (named after the companies mascot, English Bulldog Lulu) is the recipient of an AAAA rating from the state of North Carolina. On a local level, Lulu's Child Enrichment Center was named 'Provider of the Year' for Alexander County.

The 2,700 square foot daycare facility, which is "education" based not "activity" based, currently has over 74 enrolled students. This past summer, 23 local children were honored at a graduation ceremony before moving on to Kindergarten in the fall.
The prices for the daycare are based on break-even and is run as a rent-free, not-for-profit operation so that Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams employees and the community can take full advantage of this exceptional facility with excellent educational programs, an excellent nutritional plan and superior equipment.
