Assess what you're working with. Honed marble has been grounded to a matte, velvet-like surface, while polished marble has a smooth surface and shine.

Choose the right cleaner. We recommend cleaning marble with a cleaner specifically made for ita dish soap, for example may cause the stone to darken.

Rinse and repeat. Rinse the stone with clean water and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
